Black-out times

Outside of these times, Grady is available any time of day or night for you. He is just a phone call away!


 

"Black-out" times of Sunday 6am to noon, Monday 1pm-5pm, Wednesday and Thursday 7am-3:30pm, and Friday 10:00am-1:15 pm and 3 pm to 4 pm. 


Holiday hours: Very available!

 I seek to be especially available on civic holidays, with the exceptions of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Black-out times do not apply on civic holidays other than the three I just mentioned.

Fees

Document Fee

$5 for every document requiring the Notarial Stamp. This is the maximum prescribed by Ohio law. 

Travel Fee

Notaries may charge a reasonable travel fee if agreed upon by the customer and the notary before the act. Typically, my rate is $25 plus $1 beyond five miles driven, but I am open to negotiation. 


General schedule of travel fees: 

$25 base fee

$1 per mile outside of Bowling Green (measured from city center)

$2 per mile outside of the four counties mentioned above.


If a Real Estate, Debt Settlement, or similar transaction: $100 base rate that includes travel fee. Minimum of $200 if outside of the four counties mentioned above.


Travel fees are doubled if appointment made with less than three hours' notice or scheduled to occur between 10 pm and 6 am. 


Travel fees are expected to be remunerated in cases of no-shows or cancellation within 24 hours. 


Notarial fees are expected to be remunerated for each notarial act, regardless of whether or not the document is accepted.




Preparation Fee

I also help prepare government forms and similar forms so as to give people peace of mind. I charge a minimum of $15 per preparation appointment plus a travel fee but am open to negotiation. Services under this scope include me printing the forms you request for you, and delivering them to the appropriate authority. Common examples are I-9 Verification and permit running.

Payments Accepted

Cash or PayPal or Stripe payments.
